The third season of the lecture series “When is Design?” will be given a start by artist and designer Jüri Kass.
The series presents the work of practising designers and the history of the field will be discussed by professionals who have been active in the field for a time. The series is based on the contradictory processes of constant expansion, delimitation, blurring and formulation of the concept of design.
Design's complexity and change over time is inevitable and fascinating. In order to understand what and when design is, we want to open up the layers of its meaning to a wider audience. The lectures are open to all and recordings can be watched on the museum's YouTube channel.
